Mission

KLAP APS empowers young people through non-formal education, mobility, and community-based learning. We promote peace, tolerance, and solidarity by creating accessible learning spaces—locally and across Europe—where skills, attitudes and
knowledge can grow. Our work prioritizes inclusion and equal access to social rights, with special attention to youth facing discrimination or disadvantage.

Through training, exchanges, experiential activities and partnerships, we help young people build confidence, civic engagement and practical competences for life, work and community.
Education, dignity and participation are the pillars that guide our programmes and our way of working with people and places.

Our Story

KLAP APS was founded in 2025 in Rome as a non-governmental, non-profit association.We focus on youth empowerment through peace, tolerance and solidarity, using education as a pathway to dignity for all.

Although newly established and still launching our first Erasmus+ actions, KLAP is building the foundations for international cooperation and intercultural learning.

Training & Exchanges

We design training, exchanges, and awareness initiatives that foster personal growth while promoting social and environmental responsibility.

Inclusive Mobility Network

Through local and EU partnerships, we open mobility opportunities for young people with fewer chances and support community-driven projects across Italy and Europe.

Michele Cavicchioli — President

Educator and project designer with 15+ years in the social field. Degree in Educational Sciences (University of Bologna), postgraduate training on inclusion and community development.

Collaborates with Save the Children Italy and Caritas Italiana. Consultant/educator for a social cooperative in Rome, specialising in youth projects, non-formal education and international mobility.
